We believe that work/life balance is essential for your personal health as well as productivity in the workplace.

Time off

Plexus recognizes the importance of team member well-being and offers a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to provide our team members with time to rest, recharge, and pursue personal interests. This time off allows team members to return to work refreshed and engaged, contributing to their overall well-being and productivity.

All Plexus full-time and part-time team members are eligible for PTO as of their date of hire. Part-time team members accruing a prorated amount based on their full-time equivalent percentage.

Plexus offers 8 paid holidays throughout the year. Holiday hours are prorated for part-time employees based on their regularly scheduled work hours.

All regular, full-time, and part-time, employees and interns are eligible for paid volunteer time off. All regular employees will receive 8 hours and interns will receive 4 hours per calendar year. To see instructions on how to request the time off in Workday see this page.

Get the call to carry out your civic responsibility? We provide paid time off for serving on jury duty. All full-time and part-time employees are eligible.

Plexus provides paid bereavement leave to all full-time and part-time team members to support their health and wellbeing by providing paid time away from work or absences related to the death of a family member and fellow Plexus team members.

Plexus full-time team members are eligible to receive up to 5 days of paid bereavement leave according to the tier and including all step, half, and in-law variations of the following:

  • Tier 1 (5 Days*): Spouse, Child, Parent
  • Tier 2 (3 Days*): Grandparent, Grandchild, Sibling
  • Tier 3 (1 Day*): Aunt/Uncle, Niece/Nephew, Cousin, Plexus Employee

 
*Scheduled Work Days

Plexus part-time team members are eligible to receive a prorated amount of bereavement leave based on their full-time equivalent percentage.

Plexus team members who wish to take time off due to the death of a family member should notify their leader as soon as possible.

Flexible Work Schedule

Plexus offers a hybrid flexible workplace. Employees have the ability to work from a Plexus building, home or other location where the expectations of the job can be reasonably fulfilled.

  • File claims and leave requests paper-free, 24/7.
  • Sign and submit authorization forms.
  • Upload documents by computer or using Unum’s mobile app.

  • Update personal and provider information.
  • Register for direct deposit, if applicable.

Plexus’ paid parental leave provides up to six weeks of pay to assist and support new parent relationships. The purpose of parental leave is to enable employees to care for and bond with a newborn or a newly adopted or newly placed child. We support our employees and their families during this critical time in family development and paid leave allows them to be together in the moments that matter.
